YOUR VOUCHER & BOOKING YOUR TRAVEL DEAL

What is a voucher and when do I get it?
A voucher is what you receive once your payment has been confirmed. We will send this to your email within 6 business hours after we receive your payment confirmation. Our business hours is from 10 AM to 6 PM, Mondays to Fridays excluding holidays.

What is booking period?
Booking period is the period of time when you can reach out to our Travel Partner to confirm your travel plans (flights, hotels, etc.) based on the deal you purchased. You can do this the moment you receive your voucher and until the end of the Booking Period stated on the voucher and on the deal page. Travel deals with Fixed Travel Dates, given its nature, require that you stick to the booking period. Otherwise the Travel Partner may not be able to slot you in for the trip. This means that you will need to have a re-quote of the same package or request for a new one altogether.

When can I start booking?
You can book as soon as you receive your voucher. It is very important that you book as early as possible so you can secure your preferred travel dates. Keep in mind as well that you need to book your travel at least 45 days before your departure date, so book early if you want to travel early and save more money!

What is travel period?
Travel period is the time when you, well, travel, using your purchased voucher. This is clearly indicated on the voucher and the deal page. Make sure you watch out for those blackout dates though.

What are blackout dates?
Blackout dates are the days within the travel period when you cannot use your voucher without paying a surcharge.  These usually fall on holidays, peak travel seasons, and sometimes weekends depending on the deal.  You may arrange directly with our Travel Partner if you wish to travel during a blackout period.

Where can I find my voucher?
It will be sent to the email address you registered when you created your account. If it's not in your inbox, please don't forget to check your Spam or Junk Mail. We find ways so that does not happen but email providers can be extra sensitive so sometimes unknown senders do get flagged as Spam or Junk Mail. Better to have us in your Safe Senders list if this happens. How? Check here. You can also check your voucher here when you go to your Account Page. If none of these works, email us at support@larga.com.ph so we can help you retrieve it. For faster assistance, use this as the email subject: I cannot find my voucher. Help!, and indicate the following in the email body:
1. Your Name (as reflected on your account)
2. Voucher number or Invoice number (whichever is already available)
3. Deal Name

Do I need to print my voucher after purchase?
No need. We encourage paperless transactions, so feel free to redeem your voucher with the PDF version. Even if you redeem personally, you can present your PDF voucher without a problem.

How can I redeem my voucher?
Redeeming your voucher is equivalent to booking your travel. You must get in touch with our Travel Partner. You may find our Travel Partner’s contact details on the deal page and on your voucher. When redeeming, make sure you have the following with you:
1. Your voucher, of course
2. Scanned copy of your government issued ID, ideally your passport, especially for international travel
3. If another person will redeem for you, a clear scan of a signed authorization letter is also needed so we can be sure we have the right person.
4. At least 3 confirmed travel schedule options – a priority and alternates, because there are times when the travel dates are already packed by the time you book.

When do I receive my flight ticket?
Our Travel Partner will release your final travel documents 3 days to 1 week prior to departure date. They will personally hand you the documents along with a short briefing regarding your destination and travel package. In lieu of your travel documents, a Booking Certificate will be given to you as a guarantee that your booked travel package will be processed and delivered. In extreme cases when third party suppliers (i.e. tour operators, airlines, etc.) are unable to provide a portion of your package, the certificate will also act as your Travel Fund. The Travel Fund can be used to re-route, re-schedule or even, re-package. The use of the Travel Fund and changes to the original package is a discussion between you and the Travel Partner. Please understand that Larga.ph will not have any part in any payment, surcharges or arrangements made directly with the Travel Partner, nor we should be made liable.

So many fees! What do they mean?
Grab a drink and relax. Here’s a quick rundown of various travel fees mainly seen on Larga.ph:

  • Airline Base Fare – This is the cost of an airfare. This goes directly to the airline that will fly you to your destination.
  • Airline Taxes – This is part of the cost the airfare, and also goes directly to the airline.
  • Airline Surcharges – Typically composed of fuel surcharge. Sometimes it includes flight insurance and terminal fees. But all of it goes directly to the airline.
  • Baggage allowance – What you pay for when you check in luggage. Minimum baggage allowance varies per airline. It’s inclusion, whether tucked to your total flight cost or must be paid additionally, is also at the discretion of airlines. The fees go directly to them.
  • Terminal fee – This is paid to the airport and normally tucked in to the total cost of your flight.
  • Travel Tax – This is a government mandated fee for travelers going out of the country. It goes straight to the government.
  • Foreign passport holder surcharge – <what is this?>
  • Visa fees and assistance – This is a combination of the fee required by the country of destination for processing entry, and the service fee of the Travel Partner for processing it on your behalf.
  • Midnight arrival surcharge – Some hotels and land transfer providers impose surcharges when you arrive late at night. It goes straight to the hotel.
  • Hotel incidental charges – Refers to purchases made while you are at the hotel like laundry service, room service, mini bar use, and the like.

REQUEST FOR CHANGES & SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS

Can I change my chosen travel package after payment?
Once payment has been confirmed, you may arrange an upgrade directly with our Travel Partner (but we cannot guarantee the discounts), or cancel the voucher to get a new one. If you have this dilemma, remember we have a 24-hour guarantee that allows you to cancel your purchase within 24 hours for FREE for any reason. So, take advantage of that when firming up your travel plans.

Can I change my travel dates after booking?
Not if your booking has been finalized and ticketed. Our Travel Partner works with multiple providers to provide you with the full travel experience – airlines, hotels and tour operators.  Arrangements with these providers are also finalized the minute you confirm your booking and frequently, these arrangements are non-refundable.

What about visa?
There are 2 payment items when you travel that varies depending where you go, and what kind of passport you carry. With respect to these conditions, these are excluded in most of the the travel deals but need to be processed and paid for directly to our Travel Partner. These 2 payment items are:
1. Travel insurance – our Travel Partner can also process your travel insurance for destinations that do not require it, if you make the request.
2. Visa fees and processing
Read through the Travel Deal though, some deals already include them. Please understand that Larga.ph will not have any part in any payment, surcharges or arrangements made directly with the Travel Partner, nor we should be made liable.

What if my visa is not approved?
First of all, that’s sad, and we're sorry. Neither we nor our Travel Partner have control over visa applications. Our Travel Partner will help in redoing the process, but if you choose to cancel your trip altogether, you may take these options:
1. If applicable, request for an Extended Booking Period
2. Cancel your trip altogether following our cancellation policy
3. Re-route your trip, to be arranged directly with the Travel Partner
Should you have other ideas, you must discuss it with our Travel Partner. Please understand that Larga.ph will not have any part in any payment, surcharges or arrangements made directly with the Travel Partner, nor we should be made liable.

Can I customize my package?
Right now, customizable packages are not yet available from our deal offers. But, our Travel Partner can accommodate various special arrangements, subject to appropriate fees, that you will need to pay directly to the Travel Partner. You should discuss this when you are booking your travel. Examples of special arrangements are:
1. Airline seats reservation – if applicable, you can include seats reservation or class upgrade.
2. City commute passes (bus, train, etc.) – if applicable and doable, it can be coordinated and booked on your behalf
3. Travel tax payment, if applicable, you can request for inclusion of the appropriate travel tax when your flight is being booked. Airlines who have partnered with the government for online travel tax payment are here. Pre-payment can also be processed through Tieza's offices or directly at the airport. Credit card payment for Travel tax is also accepted at airports already so even when you directly pay for it, it's now much easier.
4. Extra night additional or extra person additional after voucher has been paid for
5. Traveling during blackout dates.
The important thing is to discuss your special requests when you are booking. So, if possible, they can be accommodated. Please understand that Larga.ph will not have any part in any payment, surcharges or arrangements made directly with the Travel Partner, nor we should be made liable.

CANCELLATIONS, EXPIRATIONS, EXTENSIONS & REFUNDS

Can I cancel my purchase even after the 24-hour guarantee?Yes you can. Our Standard Cancellation policy has some conditions is summarized below. Please refer to your voucher's Terms & Conditions for specific cancellation rules and options.
1. If you cancel within the Booking Period or Extended Booking Period, you can claim a 100% refund to be credited in your account's Travel Fund. Our team will help you setup if you don't have an account yet.
2. If you cancel within the Booking Period or Extended Booking Period and would like to have it in cash, a 25% cancellation fee will be imposed. That means, only 75% of the voucher price will be refunded to you.
3. If you cancel after the Booking Period or Extended Booking Period, it will no longer be accepted nor refunded.

To cancel, you must email us support@larga.com.ph use this as the email subject: Need to cancel. Help!, and indicate the following in the email body:
1. Your Name (as reflected on your account)
2. Voucher number or Invoice number (whichever is already available)
3. Deal Name to be cancelled

Remember, vouchers not booked during the Booking Period or the Extended Booking period will already be considered expired and can no longer be used nor refunded. If no cancellation requests have been received, we will presume that it’s still active for booking until expiration.

What do I do if I can't confirm my travel plans yet during the booking period?
You should immediately email support@larga.com.ph to request for an Extended Booking Period.
For faster assistance, use this as the email subject: Need Extended Booking Period. Help!, and indicate the following in the email body:
1. Your Name (as reflected on your account)
2. Voucher number or Invoice number (whichever is already available)
3. Deal Name to be cancelled
We allow a one-time extension for up to 30 calendar days after the end of the Booking Period. Take note that the count of the 30 days starts from the day after the end of the Booking Period. So, if you made the request 5 days after, you will only have 25 calendar days to complete your booking. For travel deals with Fixed Travel Periods, know that it may not be possible to request an Extended Booking Period because the Travel Partner has to conform to the dates offered in the voucher. If you are unable to meet the Booking Period for this kind of deal, you'll likely need to request for a re-quote for the same package or request for a quote for a new package altogether.
Our booking periods normally last up to 60 days, which is a pretty reasonable time to firm up your plans. So, the Extended Booking Period is a special concession tied to a special Late Booking Fee. This fee is 10% of the total voucher price (for example, the total voucher you purchased is Php 20K, you will have to pay Php 2K for the Late Booking Fee). Our team will confirm the Extended Booking Period 1-2 business days after request has been received. Vouchers not booked during the Booking Period or the Extended Booking period will already be considered expired, and can no longer be used nor refunded.

What does it mean "my voucher has expired"?
When your voucher is expired, it means you have missed your Booking Period. When this happens or about to happen, you can request for an Extended Booking Period.
If you fail to make this request and let it sit, you will not be entitled to any refunds, nor will it be considered for cancellation. Travel is usually a life milestone, so we're optimistic that this will not happen to you.

My flight was cancelled. What do I do?
There are incidents outside of our control: natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, unexpected business closure, among others. When force majeure occurs such as these cases, we cannot claim liability. But Larga.ph and together with our Travel Partner will find ways to help. So, if a flight cancellation happens, please email support@larga.com.ph or directly coordinate with our Travel Partner. Please understand that Larga.ph will not have any part in any payment, surcharges or arrangements made directly with the Travel Partner, nor we should be made liable.
